Sometimes you come across a new band, and even though it's maybe not brand new, it still changes your life just a little bit, making it sort of better in some way. That's what happened to me this morning after crossing the street over to HMW to buy the new album of my favorite new band VAMPIRE WEEKEND. Everybody that's heard it loves it, from the staff to the customers. If you've never heard of them, make sure to check out their myspace  . Many projects are dropping in the next few weeks. We have a sweet line up of Pop up shops launching from now till the end of the year so stay tuned. We've been grinding hard on some ideas we've been building over the past few months. Here's one of them...

The St-Patrick parade is this Sunday. The whole street of Ste-Catherine will be blocked off, as people celebrate in honor of our heavy Irish community out here in Montreal. Super good times, and lot's of beer. Tons.

And you know Harry will be there... going nuts.

House of Pain came out in 1992, from Valley Stream, New York. I think they all live in Los Angeles now, as they now run La Coka Nostra. House of Pain definitely had their moments, I was in grade 5 at the time they came up. Read up on Everlast if you have time. Homeboy's been through some shit, but he's still around doing his thing. Brave dude.

Saturday we got in some Penfield, the tags should be ready today or tomorrow, so the new stock should be on the floor very soon. I took a look in the boxes real fast before kate catches me and the stock is AMAZING... get ready.

We got in the latest t-shirts by Bruxe design. First, theirs a new colorway of the Bruxe and furni tee and two new styles of their B logo tee.

Some new lifetime arrived in the store last week. This season features a capsule collection in collaborations with Ben Tour and Super Champion, which is a fixed gear bike shop in Vancouver. They produced a windbreaker, t-shirts and bike caps. The rest of the collection is pure lifetime, with some simple pieces and some other garments that are a little bit more edgy.

Après le très grand succès du lancement du site http://www.WHAT-UP-GANGSTARS.com au Salon Officiel, Jay Louis revient en force avec la première soirée d'une série d'événements que la marionnette organisera au cours de la prochaine année. Il démarre en grand avec une soirée à la SAT mettant en vedette des invités de renom: DJ Klever (Atlanta) et pour la première fois au Canada, exclusivement à Montréal, Arthur King (Paris/ Le Baron).

Aussi, nos talents locaux A-Rock (http://www.myspace.com/adamhummell) et Shay DaKiss (http://www.myspace.com/shaydi) s'occuperont, aux platines, du réchauffement de l'atmosphère, au grand désarroi des écologistes.  De plus, des invités mystère viendront saupoudrer la soirée du début à la fin.

He's starting big with a party at the SAT, starring the infamous DJ Klever (Atlanta) as well as, for the first time in Canada, exclusively in Montreal, Arthur King (France / Le Baron).

This morning, I joined Angelo for the Fall 2010 booking of WESC & PENFIELD at Tiger Distribution. We got a little peek of what was coming up. It looks good from the samples. One thing is Penfield fall 2010 is amazing. They expanded their clothing and outerwear collection. Always clean and classic pieces that has longevity. True american heritage. One hunter jacker was the highlight for me & Maura. Jesse is definitely on point with his presentation. Maura & Kate came by a bit later to do some bookings for the womens side. It was a good morning.
