No stranger to Nike's roster of artists, Dutch artist Parra has worked with Nike on various collaborations. Most known for his work on the Air Max 1 Amsterdam's, Parra is at it again. This time, he has designed a baseball jacket with Nike's Sportswear department. Taking a classic baseball jacket and adding his own logo creations all over the chest and sleeves to make it his own.
Every month, we receive a copy of The Red Bulletin. It keeps us in the loop of Red Bull's complete roster, from extreme sports to in depth views of their athletic program.
Interesting enough, there was an interview with World Champion Sean - the young man from France won last year's Red bull Street Style final in Brazil. I looked on youtube for some clips. Sean is amazing but I think he needs a stylist...
Sean was quite humble in his piece, which mainly consistent of praising none other than the football God, Diego Maradona. I'm happy to see that Diego's legend has crossed over a sport such as "freestyle", even though many don't consider it to be proper "soccer".
I strongly believe if Freestyle keeps expanding, and events such as Red Bull's Street Style keep having success, then in a few years from now, the game as we know it will have a new dynamic. Strikers and goalscorers will have a lot more technique on how to get the ball into the goal quicker.
All this to make a poor little defense man like me miserable.

Bruxe x Off The Hook "Party Pack" limited Edition Collaboration
A few months back, after seeing the very first Fall 09 sample of the Bruxe "Billy belt pack", the crew here at Off The Hook got really excited. After a few sessions of kicking around ideas, back and forth with Oli and Mer from Bruxe, we proudly bring to you our first collaboration project!!!
We took this classic 2 pocket waist purse and turned it into our very own "Party Pack". The idea behind it? Well, Montreal is very much known as a party city, world wide!!! Our long dark winter blues get tough at times, but rest assured the "Party Pack" will keep you warm and toasty while you wait outside the club!!!
The concept? Easy! This nice varsity felt pouch will keep your wallet and money safe and sound. The hidden back zipper pocket will keep... well, you fill in the blanks here... _______ and ______ and _____ and ______ ready to rock!!! Make sure to stash your house keys proper or else you'll be climbing up a tree trying to get in through a window at 5:00am, good luck!!!
Bruxe x OTH is smoothly printed "all over" and inside the golden lining making it an official collaboration, along with an embroidered tonal Bruxe logo hit on the leather flap to make it subtle. A proud Bruxe x OTH and final signature in gold thread on the front side pocket...
The best part about it? Oli and Mer and the OTH crew made sure to get the party started early, as a laser etched Bruxe x OTH stainless steel flask accommodates your favorite drink!!!
As part of their fall 09 collection Ludwig took an impressive leap in releasing a watch, which is something you don't often see by most clothing brands. Nevertheless, I'd gladly say they've made a great product in terms of quality and presentation. Coming in a satin covered box, the timepiece takes inspiration from vintage military watch styles with its stainless steel facing held together with a canvas strap & subtle orange detailing on the Bolt-shaped needle. Now available at the shop.
The boys from LH headed to Wisconsin this summer for a very special project. While we don't have any details of the expected collaborative bicycle, Scott sent me some photos of their trip down to the 30th state of the constitution. Ransom released a video to introduce their first season of Ransom Footwear by Adidas Originals. In this well shot video, we can see the boots and the sneakers that were crafted to withstand the rugged lifestyle that the modern man will encounter. I can't wait for this collaboration to drop, it is a good step for the Canadian brand. Coming soon to your favorite upperground boutique.
It's the season people; the leaves are starting to cover the sidewalk. Fall is without a doubt my favorite season. You can wear jackets every day and when it gets a little colder, you can wear some boots to fairly buildup your outfit. Because we all know the Vans eras aren't going to keep your little toes warm and cozy. Enjoy!
For the second year in row, our city will be blessed with local talent, as they get their chance to shine! So 3 events, including Toronto and Vancouver (big up to my homie Dana for judging!!!), with the grand final back to Toronto...
The Canadian champ will head out to South Africa for the world finals!!!
I was there last year to support our Montreal boys, and I'll definitely be there again!
