Stussy and Stones Throw Records have partnered for Raph Rashid's classic pic of J Dilla on a limited-edition Stussy Tee. This will be released Feb. 13, 2010 in White and Black, available at stonesthrow.com and Stussy locations.
The photo was taken by Raph Rashid in Dilla's L.A. dining room-turned-studio, summer 2005, for his book Behind The Beat: Hip-Hop Home Studios.
This tee is officially licensed with J Dilla's heirs, who have recently announced a reorganization of the J Dilla Estate (read here).
Stones Throw will also be announcing a multi-city in-store release parties for this shirts. Stay tuned for details.
When I arrive home on an empty stomach and it's pretty late, I have no time to prepare food, so I grab whatever is in the fridge, heat it up and eat it. Last week, I did an amazing discorery, I stumbled upon some Taquitos. Tasty rolled chicken tacos that are ready to serve. Top it off with a fudgesicle and you have a complete and balanced meal!
This is a really refreshing video by visual performance house Bonsajo in Japan. I usually get bored very easily; the first 20 seconds of the video with the wire frame waves induced some lack of interest from me. But then, the music, the color palette and the animation truly amazed me. No hate on Youtube, but Vimeo is the shit!
WeSC Spring items have recently hit the shelves over here, coincidentally (not really), the swedish collective released some oftheir Spring2010 lookbook images. While I don't think I'm ready to sport on that one piece "mailhot", (not because I dont like it...but let's just say I'm not in great shape after holiday feasts) other braver guys might be up for it.
