Next up in the Obey your music project is Montreal's own Omegas. Just back from a tour of the north east with a new LP out on Parts Unknown, Omegas have quickly become one of the most talked about current punk/hardcore band. 5 wackos known for wild antics at their live shows, be sure to come check them out on March 31st, here at Off The Hook. Doors at 8pm for refreshments, Omegas on at 9pm so it can be over by 10pm. See you then.
Last night, I went out to shoot a little video with Dan(Young Healers) for the OBEY YOUR MUSIC project. This is the 2nd band in the lineup. OMEGAS. A more punk/hardcore band. Stay tuned for some video footage...
As some of you must of heard, OTH's third floor will be transformed into a Vans Store. Many brands took our third floor in hostage in the past years, Alphanumeric, Obey and now Vans. Over the last few weeks, we've been finalizing everything with the guys from Vans. The design of the shop and the selection of shoes are going to be insane. I don't wanna talk too much about it but I'll give you a little hint about a feature the OTH x Vans store will have... customization. (ahem ahem, you didn't hear it from me)
The Bob Cousy is a PF flyer shoe inspired by basketball in the 1950's. Bob Cousy is like the MJ of the passed generation. This shoe was the one he wore while turning around his new NBA team from awful to awesome, and while grabbing 6 rings in Boston. HOLLLLLLLAA!
We have just recieved two colorways of the SFB Chukka out of the "Athletics Far East" collection. These shoes stand out of the ordinary while staying low profile, if your tired of seeing the same shit all the time, come and take a look.
