Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer la toute premiè collaboration entre RAINS et un détaillant, le RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak, conçu pour le projet AΩ, qui célèbre les 15 ans d'OTH! À la suite de notre récente collaboration avec Vans, on continue d’examiner notre double héritage grecque et québécois, cette fois ci à l’aide d’une collaboration avec la marque danoise RAINS.
Le RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak est né d’un désir de créer un morceau qui serait utile pendant les mois pluvieux que Montréal connait durant l’automne. Collaborer avec RAINS nous a permis de créer un morceau avec un design qui est à la fois intemporel et utile. Le AΩ Anorak est construit d’un matériel léger et résistant à l’eau, et est muni d’une grande poche à l’avant qui est équipée d’une fermeture scellée, un important atout pour le navigateur urbain pris sous la pluie. Une inscription grecque peut être trouvée sur le desus du capuchon et se traduit « Je suis le Alpha et le Omega ». Les lettres grecques A et Ω son imprimées en 3M réflectif sur l’épaule droite. Comme les autres morceaux du projet AΩ, le RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak est basé sur une palette grise et bleue.
Nous avons aussi collaboré avec le photographe chicagois Marcus Smith pour le lookbook du AΩ Anorak. Réputé pour ses photos dramatiques d’athlètes, Marcus fût un choix naturel pour les deux marques, vu que l’anorak est conçu pour les navigateurs urbains qui ne sont jamais ralentis, peu importe la météo.
Le RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak sera disponible en quantité limitée le mardi 22 septembre dès 11h en boutique et 12h en ligne avec livraison mondiale disponible.

We're excited to announce the first ever collaboration between RAINS and a retailer, the RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak, which was created as part of the AΩ Project, celebrating the shop’s 15 year anniversary. Fresh off our recent collaboration with Vans, we continue to examine our joint Greek and Québécois heritage, this time by teaming up with Danish outerwear brand RAINS.
The RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak was born from a desire to create a piece that would be useful during Montreal’s damper autumn months. Partnering with RAINS allowed us to create a piece that features both timeless and utilitarian design. The AΩ Anorak is constructed from lightweight, fully waterproof fabric and features a front pocket with a waterproof zipper that is essential for the urban commuter caught in the rain. The AΩ Anorak also features a brimmed hood, which, when opened, is marked with a small Greek inscription reading “I am the Alpha and the Omega”. The Greek letters A and Ω appear on the right shoulder in reflective grey 3M. As with other pieces from our ongoing AΩ Project, the anorak is based on a grey and blue colour scheme.
We also collaborated with Chicago-based photographer Marcus Smith on a lookbook for the AΩ Anorak. Renowned for his dramatic photography focusing on athletes, Marcus was a natural choice for the two brands, as the anorak is meant to be used by urbanites who are never slowed down, regardless of the weather.
The RAINS x OTH AΩ Anorak will be available in limited quantity on Tuesday, September 22nd at 11AM in store and 12PM on the online store with shipping available worldwide.
We'll be celebrating the release of the AΩ Anorak with an in-store RAINS pop-up shop, running from September 22nd thru October 6th.
